God's Always Working

Wow,

Well this weekend went by so quickly. I haven't written in the blog in awhile so I thought I would update. Thank you all for the prayers. I went and talked to one of my bosses and explained everything. It was nice to get it off my chest and to know that someone else knows what I'm feeling and they now have the ability to make changes. If they don't I know that God is going to work with me to get me through this.

The Lord has really been working in my life this weekend and even up until now as I write this post. A family member of mine is really hurting and asked me for some verses to help the family through this tough time. As I was getting some verses from a friend and reading through them I realized that not only would these verses be relevant for my family member but also for me.

There are two that really stuck out in my mind, they are: Job 2:9-10 and Ecclesiastes 7:14 which states "when times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future." I think this is something that we overlook in our society today and think that we're too good to be hurt or suffer loss. We always ask, why? but the question should be, why not? Well I never know when God had given me an insight to share with someone else so I hope that this touches someone elses life like it has mine.

As for our family, Jim's parents were here this weekend and had a lot of fun with Alexa. She got a new swing in the big tree in our backyard. She loves it and is going to have a blast this summer. We're learning what it's like to be a kid in the summer. We have two skinned knees and an owwee on our eyelid and our nose. We've also had grass stain twice so far and it's only the beginning of summer. Well here are some pictures. We'll talk to you all soon. God bless

Samantha

This is a picture of Alexa showing us her teeth when she gets to the "T" in the alphabet. Daddy thought that she looked like a wallrus.

She had to have her hands in her pockets and

then she was walking around the house hunched over.

There's never a dull moment in our household.
